Find answers to common questions about our Haitian coffee, brewing, orders and shipping.
Haitian coffee is known for being smooth, low in acidity, and gently sweet — with notes of cocoa, brown sugar, toasted nut, and a soft citrus finish. Aneliz Original is a medium-dark roast that brings out the cocoa and sweet undertones with a clean, balanced finish. It's the kind of coffee that doesn't need sugar or cream, but tastes even better with a splash of warm milk.
Our coffee is shade-grown by small-holder farmers in the mountains of Thiotte, Haiti, using traditional methods passed down for generations.
If you have a grinder at home, choose whole bean — freshness lasts longer, and grinding right before brewing gives you the fullest flavor.
If you don't have a grinder, choose ground. We grind to a medium setting that works for drip machines, pour-over, and French press.
We roast in small batches and ship within 7 days of roasting. The roast date is printed on every bag, so you always know exactly how fresh your coffee is.
For best flavor, we recommend using whole bean coffee within 4 weeks of the roast date, and ground coffee within 2 weeks. Store in a cool, dry place — away from direct sunlight.
Orders ship within 1-2 business days from our roaster in PA . Standard shipping arrives in 3-5 business days across the continental US. Free shipping on all orders over $65. Subscribers receive free shipping on every order, no minimum required.
